H. C. Starck Inc, a division of Bayer MaterialScience, is a leading producer of refractory metals used in accelerators throughout the world. These specialty materials and their alloys, - Molybdenum, Niobium, Tantalum and Tungsten - are used for all types of radiation shielding, beam blocking and high temperature applications.

We have our raw metal producing and machining facilities in the USA and Europe which can support all new designs and developments. Materials are available in sheet, plate, bar, extrusion and pressed to near net shape, fully machined/welded ready for installation. Additionally, our 5000T extrusion press is available for toll extrusion of other unique alloys.
