- SNS beam power ramp-up activities, including studies of beam transport and beam loss in the accumulator ring and associated transport lines.
- Development of high-level physics software.
- Collective effects in high-intensity beams.
- High-power beam collimation.
- Mentoring of undergraduate research interns and participation in student and public outreach programs.
