J. Galambos reviewed some issues raised at the division meeting. Note that abstracts should go through the division office, major conferences require approval, for others assume approval unless you hear otherwise. Credit card issues were discussed. Also, the group leader situation was discussed - comments to Norbert are welcome.


Slava Danilov noted that Transport code was not suitable for using in an online model, and suggested MAD would be better. Work is ongoing on setting up MAD files for the transfer lines.

Dong O Jeon noted that runs have been done with the modified MEBT optics for the case with partially chopped micro-pulses. These pulses still make it to the foil with minimal offset.

Sarah reviewed the collimation position optimization work. The quad dose is greatly reduced and the efficiency is slightly improved. Working point sensitivity is being addressed.
