Accelerator Physics Group Meeting

Present: J. Wei, J.Galambos, S. Aleksandov, S. Danilov, W. Wan, J. Holmes, 
S. Kim, P. Chu, E. anke, M. Doleans,

J. Wei discussed the upcoming meetings. At the space charge workshop there 
will be three sessions, with a leader secretary combiniation: machines - 
J. Stoval, E. Tanke; Models - I. Hoffmann, D. Jeon, Codes, N. Pichoff, 
J. Galambos. Xi Quang may come to ONL to work on SNS space charge studies 
with the IMPACT code.

Sasha Aleksandrov will give an invited talk at PAC.

R. Macek has invited people to go to PSR in June to participate in space 
charge studies. There will also be e-p studies, but participation in these 
is not clear.

Regarding getting the requirents for the injection kicker power
 supply test, Yannis is the point person for the Ring painting work. 
Slava is looking at the
impedance of the ceramic chamber / shunt assembly.

There was a discussion on application programming and the need to get 
controls and diagnostic people involved.

Eugene Tanke noted that a loss monitor experiment at LANL is upcoming. Also 
work is ongoing comparing beam distributions calculated between different codes.
