Collection of electrons via ExB drifts at the IPMs will require a magnetic field of 250 gauss. This can be supplied by permanent dipole magnets. With two permanent dipoles at each IPM, electrons could be collected, the beam could be steered by the 3-bump method, and trim windings could be avoided.
