Agenda - 04/02

--04/02 Video Conference Agenda

1) Global Accelerator Network (GAN)

GAN is an organization which is attempting to establish a collaborative framework for building, operating, and owning the next large accelerator. They are considering a collaboration model in which the partners retain ownership and operational control of the finished machine. They would like feedback on the experience of the SNS collaboration. If you wish to contribute your thoughts on this, please send them to John Galambos (jdg@ornl.gov).

2) Linac BSM, Emittance Device: CCL and MEBT

--MEBT and CCL Diagnostics

3) Front End Commissioning Status Update

--Front End Commissioning Schedule

4) 12Q45 Magnet Measurements

Quadrupole 12Q45 is a good magnet. Harmonic content is acceptable, although the n = 6 harmonic is 0.2%.

--Measurement of 12Q45

5) RTBT Fault Study Status

A new transport file for the RTBT is being generated to account for changes in the kicker position and optics.

The next video conference will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 4:00 pm EDT, 3:00 CDT, 2:00 MDT, 1:00 PDT.
